Desiree won the Craftsman Craft&Design Best Newcomer Award 2008 at the British Craft Trade Fair.

Desiree took part in a two month intensive business training course with the NESTA Insight Out program. 

After a nerve-wracking 'dragons den' style presentation, Desiree was awarded £2,000 to help start her business.
